Discord is a free communication software allowing users to communicate via text, voice or video. Many gamers, especially the ones that play PVP (Player Vs Player) or PVM ( Player Vs Monster) type games, use discord to communicate with their teammates.
With Discord, you can create and join communities that share a similar interest as you. There are also many other uses and features of Discord but in this article, I want to talk about how to share your screen on Discord.
Ok, let us get into the steps. I would assume that you already have Discord but if you don’t then go to the official site here and download it. Once it has been installed we can begin.
On the left side bar click on the friend you want to share your screen with.
For this step you have to click on the phone icon located next to the name of the person you want to share your screen with.
Once the call interface has opened up click the turn on screen share option, the monitor icon on the left.
This is the last step. The screen share window will pop up after you have clicked the screen share option. Click your screen image, located right in the middle of the window, above entire screen. Once you have done that, you should now be sharing your screen to your friend that you called. They will be able to see every action you do in real time.
As you can see in the photo above, you can choose a higher resolution and a higher frame rate. These options are for the persons that have the upgraded version of Discord, Discord Nitro, which is a monthly subscription service.
Anyway, it’s that simple to screen share with your friends on Discord. It’s not hard at all and doesn’t take much time and effort.
